We understand that price is sometimes a deciding factor when choosing a photography studio for your needs. With the importance of these portraits your trust should not be placed in the person (studio) with the cheapest prices. Instead, you should look for a photographer with qualities such as, creativity, print quality, and variety of images, to name a few. At Mikel's we take great pride in making sure your portraits are ones you will be proud to display in your home and share with your friends. Our Custom Design Consultation


Is an essential and distinctive service offered to you FREE of charge. We will schedule a time to visit with you privately in our studio prior to your portrait session.

We will go over the following items:

  • Ideas about clothing
  • Themes and the feeling you want your portrait to portray
  • The setting / location for the portrait
  • Discuss where you will be displaying your portrait
  • Discuss the impact you would like to have with your portrait
  • Pricing and types of finishes
  • Any questions you may have

Every portrait Mikel's creates is custom designed by Mikel, keeping your expectations and final product in mind, from the lighting, color balance, depth of field. The design consultation takes a little extra time and effort but it helps to ensure all you expectations are met and your overall experience with Mikel's Fine Art Photograph is even more enjoyable.
